Martin Ware, 1946-
Born London 1946 only son of the war artist William Ware and painter Eileen Aldridge.
Studied at Camberwell, Croydon and The Royal College of Art where he was awarded a
drawing prize and a travelling award to Spain. Worked for 3 months at the atelier
Lacourière, Paris...
Has taught at various colleges from 1972 to 2002.
Director of the Hastings Etching Workshop since 1980.
Director of Focus Study Tours from 1990 to 1998.
Moved to France permanently in 2007 and started again working as a printmaker after a long and necessary break.
