Narikawa Shigenu, fl. 1960-1990.

Two traditions merge in Narikawa's mezzotints—the Japanese art of floral still life and the mezzotint technique. He studied art at the Tokyo Designer School from 1966-67, and the Honolulu Academy of Arts from 1969-73, before moving to New York City to specialize in mezzotint at the Pratt Graphics Center.
