Wakō Shūji 若生秀二, 1953-

Wako_Shuji_photo (39K) Wakō Shūji, born in 1953, began exhibiting in the College Women's Association of Japan's (CWAJ) art show at age 26 and has been accepted every year since. His playful, vivid works of origami papers, hoops and puzzles are typically arranged with spectacular tablecloths, always displayed on a velvety black background.
