Artist's statement: "I use non-traditional artistic techniques and tools to evoke emotions and moods upon the canvas. The paint is poured, pushed, brushed, texturized, and cajoled to open up abstract designs, creating widely ranging images, from vistas in far distant space to small still life. I use acrylic paint, oil sticks, colored pencils, charcoal, and finish with epoxy resin to create a shimmering surface effect.""
