Chadōgu 茶道具 (tea ceremony utensils)

Tea caddies and water jars are among the main objects in an overall aesthetic scheme that a host selects for the particular occasion. These objects may also be displayed after the ceremony for the guests to admire. These utensils are typically made of pottery, bronze, and/or lacquer work.
