Jianing 佳宁 [Li Yuming 李玉明]
The artist's given name is Li Yuming 李玉明 and his pen-name is Jianing 佳宁. He was born in Xi'an and graduated from Xi'an Art University. He has experimented with many different paintings styles and developed a unique style that both respects tradtion and exhibits his individual flair. Landscapes are his speciality. The strong monocromatic lines recall the markings in Dali marble.
